1. What is the procedure?
» The procedure for leaving a rented home starts 2 or 3 months before.
First,
You must notify the Landlord and the real estate agent that you will leave the flat at … x ….. Time, as the contracts mentions.
Send an e-mail, fax or letter for your intentions and keep a copy of it.
Second,
invite the landlord for a first inspection of the flat one month before and when it finishes ask him to sign a paper that he saw the apartment and that it is in a condition “as it was received “. Check the hand over protocol with the landlord and see if anything missing.

2. Few days before?

Next step is to arrange a date for the deposit. If there is two month deposit and the bills aren’t expect to be over one month deposit you can ask the one month deposit to be put immediately maybe within a week.
For the other month arrange a date within 14-24 days maximum for the deposit to be put into your account and all the deducted from the deposit amounts , the bills, papers etc should be posted to you by mail.
